OUR INSPIRATION
What started as a personal journey of everyday battles led to an innovation with the potential to address a larger cause.
An energetic little girl who was born with a rare deformity also had a fire in her belly to live life king-size, she pushed my design creativity and her occupational therapist’s expertise to dig deep and find simple solution to foster everyday independence that brings joy to every being, with or without a deformity !

While thriving as an architect & designer for 18 years, becoming a mother to a daughter with special needs opened doors to a world that requires good design just as much as the buildings around us. Through The Able Company, I envision providing pathways to a more meaningful life through simple yet impactful daily design interventions, inspiring the pursuit of big dreams.
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for 20 years, I saw children struggling with daily tasks and the everyday frustration that had a lasting effect on the overall development of the child, their relationship with the caregivers and the lack of motivation to dream big. Through The Able Company, I want to use my technical skills to not only heal but empower individuals with limitations to reach their full potential even with the deformity
